Mike has more than 25 years of experience growing small to midsize businesses. During that time he built and sold two companies to Fortune 500 organisations – Textron and Fidelity Investments. He has been an angel investor on over 10 occasions, sat on multiple boards, raised millions of dollars of seed capital, been the president of a 70-person technology company (Quadron Data Solutions), and provided consulting services to companies including Microsoft, IBM & FedEx along with over 50 smaller organisations
He joins the company with the intention of helping CFOOne customers identify and better execute on practical ways to dramatically increase their cashflow and company valuation.
Founder Michael McManus is dedicated to transforming the accounting industry from being reactive and hands-off service providers to proactive advisors using business intelligence technologies to keep company leaders consistently in front of accurate company performance data. Michael leads the CFO-One team with a wealth of experience as an accountant and CFO. As well as working in public practice, Michael has worked in the manufacturing and financial services sectors, most recently as the CFO of Kima Capital Management.
Michael is a qualified CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business and an MBA. Michael has a diverse background coupled with a strong vision which has seen him develop the CFO-One business that has already been nominated as Australias Top Business Advisory Firm for 2019 as well as the Most Innovative Accounting Firm of the year by Accountants Daily.
Tamara’s passion for helping customers succeed in business is a difficult to put into words. She is commercially focused and a hands on professional with demonstrated strategic influence. Tamara has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant (ICAA) with over 15 years’ experience in accounting, finance, risk management and governance. Tamara has also obtained the GAICD (Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors) with a focus on quality Board Governance. She has held senior positions in the superannuation, funds management, media, hospitality and mining sectors as well as public practice accounting at KPMG. Tamara worked abroad in the UK for five years and brings USGAAP and Sarbanes Oxley expertise, as well as a global perspective to businesses that may be looking to diversify or expand.
Tamara’s philosophy is that she puts great value in the numbers and achieves professional success by being able to report, influence and direct stakeholders in this capacity.

CFO-One supported and encouraged the rollout of our time and attendance software for their client
in the hospitality industry. They have over 200 employees in their group on the Sunshine Coast and was a significantly large implementation. We worked closely with CFO-One throughout the implementation of this new IT solution for the client, which has allowed them to throw out manual paper timesheets and give so much more control and transparency in the rostering and pay runs. The front end solution provided by Tanda will create cost savings and time efficiencies as well as allowing straight through processing in the back office functions and cut down handling time and manual data entry. Our business originally started with just myself and an apprentice and we are now a business of over 50 staff members. The biggest problem we faced with growing the business and having more staff on board was making sure all of our numbers were right. What is a Gap Analysis
The CFO One Gap Analysis is a tool to help business leaders clarify the current roadblocks to
achieving what is most important to them. Although our investigation process is much the same, the
gaps between where a business is and where the leader needs it to be is often unique.

What is the Gap Analysis Process?
It begins with a focused conversation with the business leader to clarify the key issues that require improvement. The CFO One team then goes away and creates a Report of Findings (ROF) that
provides the leader an objective third party opinion on what actions could improve the issues
discussed. The ROF often acts as a tool for the leader to organise current challenges and
communicate with management what actions require better execution.
